ENGINE SYSTEM AND ENGINE MANAGEMENT METHOD FOR RIG

PURPOSE: An engine system of a rig and a management method thereof are provided to use a two-stroke cycle engine which has the better fuel efficiency than a four-stroke engine even at the time of the low load operation, thereby saving the fuel cost. CONSTITUTION: An engine system of a rig includes a two-stroke cycle engine (10), a gear part (20), and an alternating current (AC) generator (30). The gear part controls the revolutions per minute (rpm) of the two-stroke cycle engine. The AC generator converts the kinetic rotating energy of the two-stroke cycle engine into the electronic energy. The gear part enhances the revolutions per minute of the two-stroke cycle engine.
