摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle charger capable of starting charging after detecting engagement of a charge connector even if charging is made to a vehicle that has no communication function with a charger side. <P>SOLUTION: In a vehicle 9, removal of a charge connector 11 or making of preparation operation for removal is detected on the basis of change in the current outputted from a fifth terminal 915 of a vehicle side connector 91, and on the basis of the detection, charging into a storage battery 94 is stopped. A vehicle charger 1 which performs charging to the vehicle 9 includes a relay circuit 21 for charging into the vehicle 9, a switching circuit 22 which causes the vehicle 9 to open a relay circuit 922 by switching a route of the current outputted from the fifth terminal 915 under a condition in which the charge connector 11 is engaged and a preparation operation for removal is not being made so that a value of the current is changed, and a control section 20 for controlling the relay circuit 21 and the switching circuit 22. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
