<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a roller for fixation used in a fixing part of a copier or the like, especially, the durability of a pressure roller, image quality, the shortening of a warming-up speed, or the like. <P>SOLUTION: A pressure roller 1 for fixation is formed by molding a solid layer 4 on an outer layer of a foam elastic layer 3 integrally without requiring an adhesion layer. In such a case, the heat conductivity of the foam elastic layer 3 is 0.05-0.2 W/m K, the heat conductivity of the solid layer 4 is 0.1-1.0 W/m K, and the thickness of the solid layer 4 is 0.5-5.0 mm.
