<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carpet that is devised in view of a technical background and acquires mild warmth and soft touch when a person touches the front surface of the carpet. <P>SOLUTION: The carpet includes: a skin layer constituted of pile yarn and a base fabric; and a backing layer.
