<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-emitting glass capable of preventing a halo phenomenon, and to provide a method for manufacturing the same. <P>SOLUTION: The light-emitting glass is provided with a glass base having an electric circuit formed on the front surface, a glass cover, an intermediate layer installed between the glass base and the glass cover, and light-emitting diodes which are installed between the glass base and the glass cover and are connected to the electric circuit. An opening for housing the light-emitting diodes is provided in the intermediate layer, and light emitted from the light-emitting diodes passes through the opening to be emitted from the glass cover. The glass base, the intermediate layer, and the glass cover are fixed at the positions shifted from the light-emitting direction of the light-emitting diodes.
