PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve ink discharge performance when discharging ink from a nozzle by varying the capacity of an ink chamber communicated with the nozzle.
SOLUTION: When non-aqueous ink of high density is used, the physical quantity to be defined by [density (value)/viscosity (value)] is equal to or more than the reference value, and the printing on a recording paper is executed by using the drive signal of the residual vibration control waveform (Step S13). For the ink of low density, when the viscosity of the ink is high, the physical quantity to be defined by [density (value)/viscosity (value)] is equal to or more than the reference value, and the printing on the recording paper is executed by using the drive signal of the residual vibration control waveform (Step S13). On the other hand, when the physical quantity to be defined by [density (value)/viscosity (value)] is below the reference value, the printing on the recording paper is executed by using the drive signal of the normal waveform (Step S15).
COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
