PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stimulated Raman scattering microscope with which damage can be prevented from being given to a viable tissue and imaging of a viable tissue in a fingerprint region can be performed.
SOLUTION: A stimulated Raman scattering microscope 1 comprises a first laser beam source 2 which generates a first pulse beam ω1, a second laser beam source 3 which generates a second pulse beam ω2 of a lower frequency than that of the first pulse beam ω1, a modulator 4 which is provided in an optical path of the second pulse beam ω2 and modulates the intensity of incident light in a frequency of 0.5 MHz or higher, and a mirror (multiplexer) 8 which overlaps the first pulse beam ω1 and the second pulse beam ω2. The first pulse beam ω1 and the second pulse beam ω2 from the mirror 8 are synchronized and further, the stimulated Raman scattering microscope comprises a microlens array 12 which generates a plurality of light fluxes from the pulse beam overlapped by the mirror, an objective lens 13 for irradiating a specimen with the plurality of light fluxes, a filter 14 which attenuates the second pulse beam ω2 modulated by the modulator 4, and a two-dimensional detector 15 which detects the intensity of light transmitted through the filter 14.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
