<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intake system for an engine, capable of performing EGR control in an optimum manner without changing an intake layout including EGR in every operation condition. <P>SOLUTION: The system includes a flow passage (6B) allowing an intercooler (6C) to communicate with an intake manifold (2). The flow passage (6B) is branched into a first flow passage (21) and a second flow passage (22), and first flow passage (21) is merged with an EGR pipe (8B) and communicates with a central portion (20c) of the intake manifold (2). The conduit length of the first flow passage is set to be long, compared with the second flow passage (22), for sufficiently mixing EGR gas with fresh air. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
