<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic apparatus that makes appropriate audio reproduction output control possible in first and second reproduction devices, and further to provide an audio output method. <P>SOLUTION: An electronic apparatus of one embodiment comprises: an audio output section; a transmission section; a first detection section; a second detection section; a third detection section; and a control section. The audio output section reproduces audio and outputs a first reproduction output. The transmission section transmits the audio to a communication destination apparatus. The first detection section detects a second reproduction output in which the communication destination apparatus reproduces the audio transmitted by the transmission section or the audio output by the communication destination apparatus. The second detection section detects a parameter associated with a positional relation between the communication destination apparatus and its own apparatus. The third detection section detects a time lag between the second reproduction output by the communication destination apparatus and the first reproduction output.
