<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ventilation fan having a side frieze board fitting structure wherein a side frieze board can be easily and safely fitted. <P>SOLUTION: The ventilation fan includes a hood 4 for collecting contaminated air generated during cooking, an exhaust blower 3 provided above the hood 4, and a front frieze board 5 and the side frieze boards 2 which are attached to the front and side surface sides above the hood 4 so as to hide the exhaust blower 3 and a duct part respectively.
