<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate assembling work when assembling a pipe protector to an L-shaped bent part in a pipe material. <P>SOLUTION: A pipe protector 14 comprises an L-shaped base body 17 extending along an outermost external surface 15 on the side distant from a bend center 8 of external surfaces in each part in the lengthwise direction of a bent part 7, a first clamp 22 formed integrally at one-end side part 17a of the base body 17, extending along a one-side pipe 10, each cross section of which is C-shaped, and capable of resiliently engaging with the one-side pipe 10 through its opening 23, and a second clamp 25 formed integrally at a the-other-end side part 17b of the base body 17, extending along the-other-side pipe 11, each cross section of which is C-shaped, and capable of resiliently engaging with the-other-side pipe 11 through its opening 26.
