PURPOSE: A method for separating a feeding paper of an image forming device and a device thereof are provided to reduce generated multi-feed when a document is separated, thereby reducing dissatisfaction of consumers. CONSTITUTION: A separation paper feeding roller(210) is installed in an end side in a frame body of an image forming device. A friction pad(220) separates a document(230) with the separation paper feeding roller. Two times of document separation are performed in the separation paper feeding roller corresponding to shape change of the friction pad. A circular type of a protrusion shape(250) is prepared on the friction pad. The document is firstly separated from a circular part of the friction pad. A non-separation paper is separated from an end of the friction pad.
