PURPOSE: An engine block with a partial curved surface is provided to have a shape changeable part to be symmetrical to a cylinder partition wall, which separates a cylinder, based on the central axis of engine block, and to remove the interference between the cylinder liner and the cylinder partition wall, thereby further reducing the cylinder interval. CONSTITUTION: An engine block with a partial curved surface includes a partial curved surface on which a cylinder partition wall (50), which partitions between cylinders, is installed. The cylinder partition wall includes a shape changeable part (55) so as to be symmetrical to the cylinder partition wall based on the central shaft of engine block. The shape changeable part includes an embowed surface in a reverse direction to a cylinder liner (20) based on the central axis so as to prevent the interference with the cylinder liner. The embowed surface is formed in a semicircular shape to be corresponded to the cylinder liner.
