<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for picking red peppers in high efficiency because of extremely poor efficiency of manual picking work for red pepper and unsuccessful practical development of picking technology still, in spite of investigation of various means such as use of vegetable hormones and mechanical picking techniques. <P>SOLUTION: Release of fruits from a plant is promoted to enable easy picking of the fruit by placing a red pepper plant body in an ethylene gas atmosphere under a proper condition. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
