<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gripper capable of efficient gripping in a small area; a needle holder capable of safe and efficient handling of a needle and sewing; and an attachment for configuring the gripper and the needle holder. <P>SOLUTION: The gripper includes a first arm 10L and a second arm 10R which can be opened and closed about a support pin 10C as a fulcrum and is configured so that opposing surfaces 12L, 12R formed by opening and closing the first and second arms 10L, 10R form a holding section 12. The gripper is characterized in that a pair of gripping members 16L, 16R is connected to the holding section 12 of both the first arm 10L and the second arm 10R so that the pair of the gripping members 16L, 16R can pivot about support points 16C relative to the holding section 12, and in that a pivoting operation section 17 is connected to the gripping members 16L, 16R at a position offset from the support points 16C and a displacement is applied to the position to which the pivoting operation section 17 is connected. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
