<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for increasing a distance that can be travelled using a rotating electric machine while protecting the rotating electric machine for vehicle driving, in a control system for an electric vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: A control system 12 includes: a temperature sensor 40 detecting motor temperature of a second motor generator 24; a battery sensor 46 detecting an SOC as a charged amount of a battery 34; and a control unit 28. The control unit 28 includes a regeneration suppression means which, when a detected motor temperature is at a regeneration suppression threshold temperature or above, suppresses a regenerative operation even if a pre-set regeneration requiring traveling condition is satisfied. When the obtained SOC is high, the regeneration suppression means decreases the regeneration suppression threshold temperature as compared to when the obtained SOC is low. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
