摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for increasing a distance that can be travelled using a rotating electric machine while protecting the rotating electric machine for vehicle driving, in a control system for an electric vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: A control system 12 includes: a temperature sensor 40 detecting motor temperature of a second motor generator 24; a battery sensor 46 detecting an SOC as a charged amount of a battery 34; and a control unit 28. The control unit 28 includes a regeneration suppression means which, when a detected motor temperature is at a regeneration suppression threshold temperature or above, suppresses a regenerative operation even if a pre-set regeneration requiring traveling condition is satisfied.
