<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem that a key sheet or the like corresponding to each language is necessary to be kept in stock when making a key name arranged at an operating device corresponding to each language, and to carry out pasting corresponding to a country of dispatch, consequently requiring management cost and manufacturing man-hour for performing it. <P>SOLUTION: The operating device TP has an operating part 6 where a plurality of operating keys 8 for operating a control object are laid out, and a display part 5 where an image corresponding to the input of the operating key is displayed. The name of the operating key is not printed at the operating part 6. The body of the operating device TP or a controller of a connection destination includes a storage means which stores guide information for guiding the name of the operating key. When a predetermined operation is carried out, the name of the operating key and an image are displayed corresponding to each language on the display part 5.
