<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive circuit and an optical transmission device that are capable of improving a magnitude of a modulation signal and response speed. <P>SOLUTION: A drive circuit 3 increases/decreases a drive current of a light-emitting element LD in accordance with input of a differential signal. The drive circuit 3 includes a terminal to which a positive phase signal Vinp of the differential signal is inputted, a terminal to which a reverse phase signal Vinn of the differential signal is inputted, a terminal connected to an anode of the light-emitting element LD, a positive phase signal processing circuit connected to the terminal to which the positive phase signal Vinp is inputted, a reverse phase signal processing circuit connected to the terminal to which the reverse phase signal Vinn is inputted, and first and second voltage control current source circuits connected to the terminal connected to the anode. A voltage corresponding to the positive phase signal Vinp and a voltage corresponding to a reverse phase of the reverse phase signal Vinn are inputted into the first voltage control current source circuit and a voltage corresponding to the reverse phase signal Vinn and a voltage corresponding to a reverse phase of the positive phase signal Vinp are inputted into the second voltage control current source circuit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
