<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat radiating material capable of efficiently radiating heat from a heating element, and a method for manufacturing the same. <P>SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a heat radiating material comprises: growing a first linear structures on a first substrate; removing tip parts of the first linear structures to remain only parts aligned in a normal direction of the first substrate; arranging a sheet made of a thermoplastic resin on the first linear structures; performing heat treatment at a temperature higher than the melting temperature of the thermoplastic resin to permeate the sheet between the first linear structures; and removing the first substrate to form a sheet-like structure 24 consisting of the first linear structures 14a and the sheet 22; growing second linear structures 14b on a second substrate 30; removing tip parts of the second linear structures to remain only parts aligned in a normal direction of the second substrate; arranging a sheet made of the thermoplastic resin on the second linear structures; performing heat treatment at a temperature higher than the melting temperature of the thermoplastic resin to permeate the sheet between the second linear structures and inserting the second linear structures between the first linear structures; and removing the second substrate. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
