<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio communication service continuation system and a radio communication service continuation method in which a radio communication service can be continued even when communication between a base station and a center facility is impossible. <P>SOLUTION: The radio communication service continuation system includes: a first base station 1a connected to a first mobile station 2a; a second base station 1b; and a center facility 3 connected to the first base station 1a and the second base station 1b. The first base station 1a, when communication between the first base station 1a and the center facility 3 becomes impossible, shifts a transmission/reception timing of a TDMA frame which is used for communication with the mobile station, uses some slots for radio communication with the second base station, and transmits/receives communication data related to the first mobile station 2a to/from the second base station 1b by the slots.
