<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a communication system capable of coping with a case of including output channels of a multiplicity of routes on an uplink side, with efficient band use, optimized band control and power saving. <P>SOLUTION: An L2 switch 3, connected to one or more uplink channels, includes DBA 31, 32 for performing band allocation for each LLID on the basis of communication monitoring results between ONU 2-1-1 to 2-n-m respectively corresponding to the uplink channels and the uplink channels, and for notifying OLT 1-1 to 1-n of band allocation results. Each OLT 1-1 to 1-n includes each DBA auxiliary unit 11-1 to 11-n for determining an upward communication start time with respect to each subordinate ONU 2-1-1 to 2-n-m on the basis of the band allocation result, and for notifying the subordinate ONU 2-1-1 to 2-n-m of the band allocation result and the start time, as band allocation results. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
