<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charging system and an on-vehicle system that can use, as a power source, a vehicle and the like adapted to power line communication for transmitting a communication signal using, as a medium, a power supply line included in a charging cable for connecting the vehicle and a power supply device, and that prevent a bad influence such as mixing of noise on a power load connected to the vehicle and the like as a power source. <P>SOLUTION: In a power line communication for connecting a power supply device 2 and a vehicle 1 mounting a power storage device 10 supplied power by the power supply device 2 with power supply lines 31, 32, power supply branches 116, 117 which branch off from the power supply lines 31, 32 and comprise a connection part 118, such as a household outlet, capable of connecting a power load such as a household electric appliance are provided.
