<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing device which can accurately identify a type of a vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: An information processing device 10 comprises: a travel history acquisition unit 13 for acquiring a travel history of a vehicle 1; and a vehicle type identification unit 15 for identifying a type of the vehicle 1 on the basis of features of the travel history of the vehicle 1. Thus, the travel history of the vehicle 1 is acquired, and on the basis of features of the travel history, the type of the vehicle 1 is identified. Thereby, it is possible to accurately identify the type of the vehicle 1. The information processing device is preferably configured to identify a general passenger vehicle.
