Heat-retaining, light-weight, sweat-absorbing, quick-dry conjugate yarn and process for preparing the same

PURPOSE: A sweat absorbing and quick drying composite yarn and a fiber product fabricated using the same are provided to maintain body temperature and fresh body condition. CONSTITUTION: A composite yarn contains a hollow yarn(1) and a modified cross-section fiber(2). The hollow yarn and the modified cross-section fiber are independently formed of polyester or nylon. The hollow yarn and the modified cross-section fiber are independently a FDY(Fully Drawn Yarn) or a POY(Partially Drawn Yarn). A method for fabricating the composite yarn comprises a step of blending the hollow yarn and the modified cross-section fiber.
