PURPOSE: A paper type safety unit for opening of a can is provided to form a safety unit made of paper, which allow a user no to be damaged by a sharp edge of a can opening portion when the user opens the can. CONSTITUTION: A can cover attachment unit(12) of paper material is formed with a circular-shaped paper having a certain width, and a part of which is attached to a boundary of a can. A flange attachment unit(13) of paper material is connected to the can cover attachment unit through a cut line(14)m and a part of which is attached to a flange. The width of the cut line is greater than that of a connection portion between a can cover and the flange. The flange attachment unit of paper material includes a bent portion(15) which is upwardly bent having an angle to the can cover attachment unit. The bent portion is attached to a side member of a one-touch can.
