<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an outdoor unit of an air conditioner that simplifies a routing path of refrigerant piping connected to a shut-off valve, and improves operability of an operation port of the shut-off valve. <P>SOLUTION: The outdoor unit includes a casing 5; a compressor 11 arranged in the casing 5; a heat exchanger 13 arranged along a side face of the casing 5; a liquid-side shut-off valve 19 connected to one side end 35a of the heat exchanger 13; a gas-side shut-off valve 18 connected to a discharge side or suction side of the compressor 11; and a support member 37 supporting those gas-side shut-off valve 18 and liquid-side shut-off valve 19. The support member 37 supports the liquid-side shut-off valve 19 closer to a sidewall of the casing 5 nearby the side end 35a of the heat exchanger 13 than the gas-side shut-off valve 18, and also supports the operation port 64 provided at a front end of the liquid-side shut-off valve 19 more in front than an operation port 54 provided at a front end of the gas-side shut-off valve 18. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
