<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and device for executing the in-line rotation of an image. <P>SOLUTION: The device includes a rotation unit for reading pixels from a source image in an order based on designated rotation to be executed. The source image is compartmented into a plurality of tiles, and those tiles are processed on the basis of where they are positioned in a rotational image, and the respective tiles are stored in a tile buffer. Target pixel addresses in the tile buffer are calculated, and stored in a lookup table, and when those pixels are searched from the source image by the rotation unit, where the pixels should be written in the corresponding tile buffer is determined by reading the lookup table. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
