<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide humidity-conditioning wallpaper that is produced by using an egg shell that is conventionally discarded, has a humidity conditioning function of adjusting indoor humidity to an adequate degree, has adequate strength, is inexpensive and has superior installability. <P>SOLUTION: The humidity-conditioning wallpaper is formed by fixing particles of the egg shell on a paper substrate having air permeability. The wallpaper obtains superior performance for conditioning indoor humidity from a hygroscopic function of the egg shell, in addition to air permeability that the paper substrate originally has, is lightweight and is easily installed. The wallpaper also obtains a superior odor eliminating effect because the egg shell is a porous material, has high adsorptive capacity and thereby allows the whole wall to which the wallpaper is attached to accelerate deodorizing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
