<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a user to log in to an image forming apparatus with an easy operation while improving security by using a portable terminal device. <P>SOLUTION: A portable terminal device 1 transmits an issue request of a time-limited pass code to an authentication server device 3, receives the time-limited pass code and stores it, and transmits a log-in request with the time-limited pass code to a multifunction machine 4. The authentication server device 3 issues the time-limited pass code to the portable terminal device 1 according to the issue request when succeeding in authentication of the portable terminal device 1 or the like, and verifies the time-limited pass code according to a verification request from the multifunction machine 4. The multifunction machine 4 receives the time-limited pass code with the log-in request from the portable terminal device 1, transmits the verification request of the received time-limited pass code to the authentication server device 3, and permits a log-in when succeeding in verification. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
