<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat exchanger capable of improving efficiency of heat dissipation in a bent part of the heat exchanger with a simple structure, and to provide an outdoor unit for an air conditioner. <P>SOLUTION: A straight tube 43 of a fin-and-tube type heat exchanger 21 is formed with a straight line predetermined part 45A and a bend predetermined part 46A, and a plurality of fin plates 41, 42 are arranged at the tube 43 such that clearances of the fin plates 41, 42 are P1. When the bent part 46 is formed by bending the bend predetermined part 46A of the tube 43 integrally with the fin plates 42, in order to form a clearance X1 between the inside ends 42A of the fin plates 42 to make the passing air quantity between the fin plates 42 in the bent part 46 substantially equal to the passing air quantity between the fin plates 41 in the straight line part 45, the fin plates 42 are formed such that the fin width Y inside the centerline of the tube 43 of the fin plates 42 arranged at the bent part 46 satisfies a relationship of Y=R-R*X1/P1, wherein R is the curvature of the bent part 46. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
