<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measurement evaluation method which is compatible in an area where a different commercial alternating current frequency operates. <P>SOLUTION: The method for evaluating an alternating current corrosion risk of a pipeline by coupon DC current density and coupon AC current density calculated from a measurement value of coupon current by connecting a coupon to a metallic pipeline embedded into the ground has: a frequency specification step for specifying a frequency of an AC current corrosion source from a measurement value waveform of the coupon current; and a coupon current density calculation step for calculating a set of coupon DC current density and coupon AC current density from the measurement value of the coupon current within one unit time with one cycle of the specified frequency as the one unit time. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
