<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress an influence of a thermochromism phenomenon that chromaticity of an image for color measurement changes depending on temperature, and thereby accurately detecting chromaticity of an image for color measurement. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus 100 includes a density conversion unit 324 that converts spectral reflectance output from a color sensor 200 into a density value, and a Lab calculation unit 303 that converts spectral reflectance output from the color sensor 200 into a chromaticity value. The image forming apparatus 100 does not correct an influence of thermochromism when the density conversion unit 324 calculates a density value, and corrects an influence of thermochromism when the Lab calculation unit 303 calculates a chromaticity value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
