<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mold device preventing the occurrence of a deformation in the periphery of a gate mark since there is a risk of the occurrence of an excess of local remaining stress since a shear force in a cutting direction is directed to a central direction of a gate since the gate mark is formed into an elliptical shape, and consequently, the gate is cut by a gate port on a port edge side in the elliptical shape when the gate is cut off from an elastic cylindrical body regarding two gate ports formed in a fixed mold. <P>SOLUTION: The mold device includes a cavity forming the outer surface of a product, and a core pin 14 forming the inner surface of the product. To the core pin, gate grooves 21 and the gate ports are formed continuously. Moreover, the cavity and the core pin are moved relatively, thereby cutting off a molded article and the gate. The gate port is formed substantially into a quadrangle shape, and a ridge line 24 in a direction orthogonal to a gate cutting direction, which is each ridge line of the gate port, is linearly formed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
