<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image formation device by which memory transfer timings from an original document reading part to a main memory do not overlap with each other between a front face and a rear face. <P>SOLUTION: A control signal generator measures a phase difference T<SB POS="POST">0</SB>between a surface HSYNC (horizontal synchronization signal) controlling a reading timing of a surface of an original document and a rear face HSYNC (horizontal synchronization signal) controlling a reading timing of a rear face of the original document, and controls a writing timing to a buffer memory so that a memory transfer timing of surface image data after image processing and that of rear face image data after image processing do not overlap with each other.
