<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect the deformation of a medium on which an image is formed. <P>SOLUTION: The temperatures T1 to T8 at a plurality of places of a heated recording paper S are measured by a temperature sensor 50, to detect the deformation of the recording paper S based on the temperatures T1 to T8. Further, the temperature sensor 50 measures the temperature of the part where the image is formed of the recording paper S, so that the deformation caused by the formation of the image, such as the expansion of the recording paper S caused by ink can be more properly detected. Further, the temperature sensor 50 measures the temperatures at the plurality of places in a main scan direction crossing a conveyance direction, so that the deformation in the main scan direction where waving etc. easily occur can be more properly detected. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
