<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To average uneven gradation caused by variation of a discharge amount of a head without limiting the number of nozzles. <P>SOLUTION: A control method of an ink jet printer 100 in which information is printed by discharging ink from nozzles 92 aligned along the paper feeding direction while heads 90 is moved in the direction orthogonal to the paper feeding direction, includes a discharge amount measuring step S1 of measuring the discharge amount for each nozzle 92 of the head 90, a head grouping step S2 of grouping the heads 90 based on the dispersion of the discharge amount measured by the discharge amount measuring step S1, a paper feed pattern reading step S3 of reading the paper feed pattern according to the group of the head 90 from a storage part 88 storing the paper feed pattern predetermined corresponding to the group of the head 90 as the data, and a paper feed printing step S4 of printing the information while feeding the paper in the read paper feed pattern. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
