The invention relates to rail transport and can be used in the design of electromagnetic car retarder.A shock absorber of an electromagnetic car retarder comprises a bracket, a nut, cups and elastic damping and compensating elements arranged coaxially in one plane. The elastic damping element is mounted with a predetermined initial effort, the compensating elastic member is in a free state. The end of an elastic damping element abuts against the nut, it is fixed, while the opposite end - with possibility of axial displacement. The ends of an elastic compensating element interacting with bottom portions of cups are also mounted with possibility of axial displacement. The invention allows to simplify the design, to reduce the size and number of parts, to decrease weight and labor content with increased reliability and manufacturability of a shock absorber. |
