摘要

PURPOSE: An electrophotographic photosensitive member is provided to output images with rarely changeable density from the start to the end of a continuous printing operation under low temperature and humidity environments. CONSTITUTION: An electrophotographic photosensitive member(1) includes a support and a photosensitive layer formed on the support. The photosensitive layer includes a phthalocyanine crystal containing compounds which satisfy chemical formula A, 8.9<=δP<=10.7, and chemical formula B, -3.2<=L<=-1.5. In chemical formula A,δP represents the polar section of a Hansen solubility parameter. In chemical formula B, L represents the energy level(eV) of lowest unoccupied molecular orbital obtained from structural optimal calculation based on density function calculation, B3LYP/6-31G.
