FIELD EMISSION X-RAY GENERATING APPARATUS

PURPOSE: A field emission X-ray generating apparatus is provided to extend lifetime of a cold cathode device by preventing discharge between a glass tube and a case. CONSTITUTION: A cold cathode device(5) is accommodated inside a glass tube(4). A bottom part of the glass tube is supported by insulating material(3). The surface of the insulating material is coated with a conductor. A target(8) and a window part(9) are installed inside an upper end part of the glass tube. The window part emits an X-ray to the outside.
