<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that if one kind of parameter set to be used as a uniform inspection criterion of image data or objects submitted, it becomes a tough criterion in conformity with all kinds or all attributes of the objects, resulting in increase of burden in article inspection processing. <P>SOLUTION: A processing parameter in conformity with a kind of an image of an inspection object is determined.
