<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device capable of efficiently managing energy conservation operation patterns by combining learning and manual setting. <P>SOLUTION: A power saving setting unit 260 for controlling an image forming device controls an image forming device whose state moves to a power saving state when a transit time elapses if a specified operation is not performed in a normal state. The power saving setting unit 260 comprises: a specific date information storage section 304 for storing a specific date information which discriminates a specific date from a normal utilization date; an auto pattern update section 274 for determining a transit time in the normal utilization date on the basis of utilization state in the past utilization dates about the image forming device; a specific date pattern registration section 296 for receiving setting of a transit time in the specific date and storing it; a switching section for switching an energization state of the image forming device between the normal utilization date and the specific date by using the transit time determined by the auto pattern update section 274 and the transit time stored by the specific date pattern registration section 296 respectively on the basis of the specific date information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
