<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a time synchronization method capable of highly accurately synchronizing time even between radio stations of a radio communication system in which much time is required from start of operation for data transmission up to actual transmission of data. <P>SOLUTION: The time synchronization method includes: a current time transmission step for generating a time information packet including current time information by a first radio station and transmitting the time information packet from the first radio station to a second radio station; a time adjustment step for receiving the time information packet by the second radio station and adjusting local time on the basis of the current time information included in the packet; a time correction information transmission step for generating a time correction information packet including time required from the start of packet generation up to output of the packet to a radio transmission path as time correction information by the first radio station and transmitting the generated time correction information packet from the first radio station to the second radio station; and a time correction step for receiving the time correction information packet by the second radio station and correcting the local time on the basis of the time correction information included in the packet. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
