<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a buckling stiffening brace member which can eliminate welding with high processing man-hours, can use ready-made articles, be easily procurable from markets of steel bars, steel pipes and the like, as an axial force member and a stiffening member, and can easily dry-connect the axial force member and the stiffening member with a screw. <P>SOLUTION: A male screw screwed with a joint 6 is formed at the end of an axial force member 2. A sleeve 5 for suppressing the topple of the axial force member 2 is joined to the outer surface of the axial force member 2 at the end side of a stiffening pipe 3 on the side without a retaining ring 4. The end of the axial force member 2 on the side without the sleeve 5 is inserted to an inner peripheral surface of the retaining ring 4 to be joined to the retaining ring 4, whereby the axial force member 2 and the stiffening pipe 3 are connected to each other with the retaining ring 4 interposed therebetween. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
