<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ventilation member that can be mounted on various kinds of cases. <P>SOLUTION: The ventilation member 10 includes a ventilating film 2, a support 4, a cover body 6, and a pillar part 8. The support 4 has a through-hole 14 as a ventilation passage. The through-hole 14 includes (a) a first part 14a having a relatively large bore diameter, and (b) a second part 14b having a relatively small bore diameter. A circular projected part 12 is formed on an outer peripheral surface of the support 4 along a peripheral direction of the support 4. When the case 20 has a nozzle-shaped opening 22, the ventilation member 10 is mounted on the case 20 by inserting the nozzle-shaped opening 22 into the support 4.
