<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a double pipe heat exchanger, which has a compact configuration and prevents any liquid backflow phenomenon by preventing a liquid refrigerant, contained in a gas-liquid two-phase refrigerant, from flowing out of an inner pipe. <P>SOLUTION: A double pipe heat exchanger 31 includes an outer pipe 32 which allows a high-pressure liquid refrigerant to flow therein and an inner pipe 33 with an inlet-side end 33A allowing a low-pressure gas-liquid two-phase refrigerant obtained by depressurizing the high-pressure liquid refrigerant to flow in and an outlet-side end 33B connected to a suction side of a compressor. The double pipe heat exchanger 31 comprises a plurality of vertical pipes 34A and 34B arranged vertically and a curved pipe 35 connecting the fellow ends of the plurality of vertical pipes 34A and 34B. The outlet-side end 33B of the inner pipe 33 is provided at the top end of one vertical pipe 34B, and the inlet-side end 33A of the inner pipe 33 is provided at the top end of the other vertical pipe 34A. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
