<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide, as one example, a gas engine system which can be further simplified in the configuration thereof, and to provide a power-generating apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The gas engine system includes a gas engine, a motor generator, an exhaust recirculation unit and a variable unit. The gas engine uses a gas as fuel. The motor generator is electrically connected to an AC power source, rotated by the gas engine and also rotates the gas engine. The exhaust recirculation unit returns exhaust of the gas engine to intake air of the gas engine. The variable unit can change the ratio of the flow rate of the gas returned to the intake air of the gas engine through the exhaust recirculation unit to the flow rate of the gas introduced to the gas engine through its intake passage. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
