<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a continuous casting method of silicon ingots, whereby wear of the inner surface of a cooling crucible can be reduced. <P>SOLUTION: The continuous casting method of silicon ingots comprises: arranging a bottomless cooling crucible 7 in which a part of the axial direction is divided into a plurality of sections in the circumferential direction, inside an induction coil 8; forming molten silicon 13 by melting a silicon raw material introduced into the cooling crucible 7 through induction heating by the induction coil 8; and continuously casting a silicon ingot 3 by solidifying the molten silicon 13 while pulling down the same from the cooling crucible 7, wherein the frequency of the alternating current applied to the induction coil 8 is fluctuated with a standard deviation of 0.025-0.050 kHz and an average of 25-35 kHz. The frequency of the alternating current applied to the induction coil is fluctuated preferably by adjusting the introduction rate of the silicon raw material continuously introduced into the cooling crucible 7, depending on the frequency of the alternating current applied to the induction coil 8. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
