PURPOSE: A method for processing digital content and a device thereof are provided to eliminate necessity of transmission of complete digital content to a plurality of processing nodes. CONSTITUTION: Place holder files having a size of digital content are generated on storage systems(10). Internal file management information is transmitted to the storage systems from a data storage(11). The internal file management information is stored in positions of the place holder files which are designated by a container file format(12). Content elements of the digital content are transmitted to the storage systems from the data storage(13). The content elements are stored in specific positions of the place holder files(14). The content elements are processed as one or more processing nodes(18).
