PURPOSE: A laminated ceramic electronic component and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to improve chip air-tightness through an application of a paste for an external electrode in which a content ratio of glass is high. CONSTITUTION: A ceramic main body(10) has a first and a second main surface which face each other in the lamination direction of a dielectric layer(1). The first and second internal electrodes(21, 22) are disposed to face each other having the dielectric layer therebetween. At least one or more first external electrodes (31) are electrically connected to the first internal electrode. At least one or more second external electrodes (32) are electrically connected to the second internal electrode. The first and second external electrodes includes a conductive metal and glass.
