<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and device for visualizing a data set. <P>SOLUTION: There is provided the method and device for visualizing the data set including a defined number of elements which are controlled by temporal processing. After the number (B) of displayable clusters of spatially adjacent elements of the data set is determined (10, 11, and 12), at least some of the elements of the data set are acquired (14). The elements of the data set which have been acquired and the elements of the data which do not have been acquired are clustered by the determined number of clusters (15), and then the elements of the data set which do not have been acquired are represented using a place holder. After values are allocated to the respective clusters (17), values of the clusters are visualized on a display (18). Every time one or more elements of the data set are changed and/or every time one or more elements of the data set are acquired, the clusters, allocated values, and visualization on the display are updated (15, 17, and 18). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
